Using +Reception Cloud with Slack
+Reception Cloud was successfully installed to your Slack workspace! Please scroll down for instructions on how to integrate and use +Reception Cloud into your Slack workspace.
If +Reception Cloud is installed on this device please long press the QR code to update the app with your Slack details. Alternatively if you are using +Reception on a separate device please scan the QR code with that device.
Scanning The QR Code
Step 1
From the main screen tap the gear icon in the top right to open the main screen settings.
Step 2
Tap the Settings button which will open the app settings page.
Step 3
Tap the Scan QR Code button then scan the QR code above.
Select a Channel
After scanning the QR code you will be redirected back to the Home screen.
Step 1
From the Home screen tap the gear icon in the top right to display the Options List, then tap Select a Slack Channel.
Step 2
Select the Slack channel that you want +Reception Cloud to post notifications to.
Posting Notifications to Slack
When a customer comes to your company and uses +Reception to call the person they have an appointment with, a notification will be sent to a Slack channel of your choosing.
