Start/End Phone Call |
|

|
By clicking on the picture of the earphone, a phone call can be started or ended. Prior to starting a phone call, enter the desired phone number either by clicking the dial buttons or via keyboard. Then click on the earphone to confirm and start the phone call (Also, a phone call can be started by pushing the ENTER key and ended by pushing the ESC key). |

Volume Regulation Knob |

Controls audio volume. When the arrow on the knob points in a 12 o'clock position, audio volume is muted, when in a 9 o'clock position, audio volume is at maximum.
During conversation, audio volume of the conversation can be regulated by rotating the knob. In ready mode, rotating the knob will regulate audio volume of sounds in ready mode. |

Function Buttons |

Function buttons offer the following functions (from left to right): Address Book, History of outgoing calls, History of incoming calls, Hold, Answering Machine, Options. |

Extension Buttons |
|

|
Speed Dial Function or functions for changing the service provider for outgoing calls can be assigned to these buttons. If you click on a button that has no function assigned, a screen to set up assignments will appear. |

Display Area |

On the bottom of the display area, the current status is displayed by icons.
When there is no icon displayed, phone calls cannot be received.
The meaning of the icons is as follows: |

STUN is active.
STUN has failed and is inactive. 。
UPnP is active.
Registered for the service @nifty Phone.
(Attention: If registration is not successful, no icon will be displayed. In this case you will not be able to receive phone calls.)

Menu
When you right-click onto the main screen, a menu will appear.

Allows you to assign speed dial functions to the ten extension buttons aligned on the main screen. |
Calling Rules
|
Define actions to take when a call is received. You can set up rules to refuse calls from a specific number, or assign call melodies to different numbers. |
Always on Top
|
The main screen will always be displayed on top. |
Enhanced Drawing
|
Preserves layered window attribute. Please do not use this function on other OS than Windows 2000/XP. |
| Shake |
In the event of an incoming call, the main screen will shake and draw your attention. |
About AGEphone
|
Displays information on the current version. |
Exit
|
Exits AGEphone.

When posting a link into a HTML form described like this:

AGEphone will instantly dial XXXXXX when the link is clicked upon.
In this case, AGEphone will use the service provider which has been set up as default address in the options menu for dialing. When the link is described like this:

, AGEphone will use the service provider following the @-sign for dialing instead.
