ageet Corporation, one of the early Japanese SIP-softphone companies that in the past received international recognition for its AGEphone Mobile and - Gadget product series, has published the microSIP-Stack based microSIP Web SDK today. This highly efficient VoIP-engine and software development kit enables web-application developers to quickly add telephony functions to their services which can then be made available to a broad on- and offline audience without any difficult and time consuming installations.

Because of its small size and low resource usage the microSIP Web SDK is the ideal candidate to extend already existing solutions. Amongst other usage scenarios it is especially suited for browser-based CRM-systems where it efficiently and dynamically combines telephony- and customer management functions. This renders other softphone installations on the user's desktop unnecessary, strenghtens system integration and lowers the required maintenance efforts. Apart from this scenario, the WebObject is also suited to enable VoIP-providers, support sites, Web 2.0 applications and many other web service providers to improve their pages and products. The microSIP Web SDK enables direct P2P communication and gives vendors free choice of the most suitable VoIP-provider to either enable calls throughout the world or to use a random server in their own company intranet.
